After reading all the blogs from my knitting groups I have decided to start one too! My blog will focus on my life and hobbies. Knitting, mosaics, my family and pets, my dog rescue work and anything else I'm feeling passionate about. Enjoy!!
Today I am a little scatterbrained. My 19 yo daughter left on saturday for 3 weeks in China and Tibet, we don't expect to hear from her until Friday, being a MOM I'm a little worried. I didn't let her know. It's my job to push her from the nest and I did, boy was it hard to do. It is not her first trip away from home. She went to Austraila at 11, but China seems a world away!
My current projects are a knitted tank top from Sally Melville's Color book, a tank I started last year, Chair covers for my dining room, mosaic light covers for the front porch, a chair I picked up off the side of the road that needs to be reupholstered, a grommeted curtain for my daughters bathroom. Whew! I better get to work. My gardens also need tending.
I look forward to keeping this blog updated several times a week. My life gets kinda kooky so you may get a laugh if you have an odd sense of humor.
